This techno remix of our track ARK/8 is by legendary DJ HAAi – and sets the scene as a festival opener. It is modern take on 90s-Y2K rave culture and much like the original track’s creator Japanese-Egyptian artist Cherif Hashizume, HAAi is who is a frequent collaborator, producer and mixer with credits like Jon Hopkins, Daniel Avery and Kelly Lee Owens. This track is a witches brew of techno, breaks, jungle and garage featuring the hypnotic vocals of experimental singer ILĀ. Cherif performed alongside HAAi and AMALIAH for the launch party at iconic club Electrowerkz in London.
