POLUIÇÃO SONORA è l’ultimo progetto del DJ e producer fiorentino 3ron, un LP di 16 tracce che riscrive il paradigma della corrente elettronica brasiliana in Italia (ma non solo).
3ron è un producer unico nel suo genere: attivo da oltre un decennio nella scena fiorentina e italiana, negli ultimi anni è stato tra i fondatori del collettivo elettronico toscano Hot Cue e ha collaborato frequentemente con quello milanese Cripta. Il suo legame sentimentale con il Brasile lo ha portato a inizio 2026 a un ritiro spirituale e artistico a Sao Paulo: 4 mesi in terra paulista dove si è fatto largo nei club e nelle community locali, per modellare e sviluppare la sua peculiare ricerca sonora e dare vita al suo primo album: POLUIÇÃO SONORA.
Bastano pochi secondi di ascolto per capire che il sound design di 3ron non è compatibile con nessuno standard elettronico italiano, a dirla tutta, nemmeno con alcuno standard prettamente occidentale. Bassi aggressivi, vocal lusofoni grezzi e urlati e, soprattuto, tante frequenze sovracute; una combinazione che colpisce l’udito come un acufene (in senso buono, sia chiaro), ma che sicuramente non può lasciare indifferenti.
Le 16 tracce di POLUIÇÃO SONORA attingono a sottogeneri Brasiliani come la Favela Bass e la Bruxaira, che stanno timidamente facendosi largo nell’ultimo periodo anche nel mercato italiano (sebbene con il consueto annacquamento dettato dal mercato musicale); a questi 3ron aggiunge influenze dub, deconstructed, noise e breakbeat, dando una svolta inedita e inaudita al tutto.
“Ho scoperto con il funk quanto per me conta piu la creativita’ rispetto alla qualita’ tecnica di
un brano. Odio la “ scolasticita’ ” in quelle produzoni di plastica, monotone che magari suonano pure bene, ma che non trasmettono niente. Avevo bisogno di uscire da queste sonorità classiche, di fare qualcosa di diverso, di evolvermi, di costruire qualcosa che mi
rappresentasse davvero. ““Vivo in un paese dove quello che faccio non è compreso a pieno o viene frainteso: io non voglio scendere a compromessi per piacere a piu persone o essere piu digeribile, usare sonorita’ cosi fastidiose e dure al limite dell’udibile è il mio modo di fare protesta, è il mio modo di farmi sentire.”
Lo sviluppo di POLUIÇÃO SONORA nasce da prima del tour brasiliano di 3ron, ma è in terra verdeoro che trova una sua identità propria, grazie anche alle collaborazioni con diversi artisti locali, DJ e MC, sia emergenti che già ben stabiliti nella scena, come MC Erikah, MC Dobella, MC Nick, DJ Nino MDK, HIRO$HI, DJ NATHAN RV, DJ Sant e TToten, con cui è venuto in contatto durante la sua permanenza a Sao Paulo.
Il titolo stesso del progetto è una dichiarazione di intenti: POLUIÇÃO SONORA si traduce appunto come “Inquinamento acustico“, nomen omen per quello che aspetta l’ascoltatore, suoni e frequenze che destabilizzano l’orecchio mantenendo però un tiro da dancefloor.
“In Brasile, per quanto diverso a livello di sound, sono stato subito accolto a braccia aperte e questo mi ha aiutato a trovare diverse date ed un sacco di collaborazioni durante la mia permanenza, che hanno portato poi alla realizzazione di questo progetto.
All interno di ogni traccia ci sono suoni, rumori, fischi che ho campionato in giro con il mio iPhone. Mi è sempre venuto naturale registrare qualsiasi suono “strano” che sentivo in giro per inserirlo nelle mie tracce.”
Brani come ZUMBIDO DA OAKLEY, FEITIÇO, ELA PISCA o KATUKA (solo per citarne alcune) portano la corrente funk in italia ad un nuovo livello: si sente il genuino e autentico bagagliaio culturale da cui 3ron attinge, oltre a una ricerca sonora basata su suoni decostruiti e aggressivi.
Il listening party organizzato per il lancio dell’album a Sao Paulo ha unito poi una estetica e un concept al sound del progetto:
“Ho cercato di creare un estetica sonora e visiva molto coerente all interno di questo club in
centro a Sao Paulo. Molto fumo, ledwall con visual glitchate in bianco e nero e tante luci stroboscopiche, per creare un ambiente di discomfort uditivo e visivo.
L’obiettivo di questa esperienza era creare un ambiente dove il pubblico si concentrasse piu sulla parte sensoriale, dove potesse vivere l’esperienza a 360° piu che focalizzarsi
sul DJ che suona.”
POLUIÇAO SONORA di 3ron è uscito lo scorso 15 Maggio su tutte le piattaforme digitali, rilasciato da indipentente. Un progetto che rappresenta un unicum a livello sonoro in Italia: 16 tracce di pura energia e ricerca sonora, un viaggio musicale nel funk underground che graffia le orecchie ma che lascia il desiderio di volerne ancora, un vero masochismo aurale per uno dei progetti italiani più interessanti dell’anno.

3ron is a producer unlike any other. Active for over a decade within the Florentine and Italian music scenes, he has spent the past few years as part of the Tuscan electronic collective Hot Cue while frequently collaborating with Milan’s collective Cripta. His deep personal connection to Brazil led him, in early 2026, to embark on a spiritual and artistic retreat in São Paulo: four months immersed in the city’s underground clubs and local communities, refining and expanding his distinctive sonic vision and ultimately giving birth to his debut album, POLUIÇÃO SONORA.
It only takes a few seconds of listening to realize that 3ron’s sound design doesn’t fit within any conventional Italian electronic framework, or, for that matter, any distinctly Western one. Aggressive basslines, raw, shouted Portuguese vocals, and, above all, an abundance of piercing high frequencies combined into a sonic assault that hits like tinnitus (in the best possible way), creating an experience that’s impossible to ignore.
The album’s 16 tracks draw heavily from Brazilian subgenres such as Favela Bass and Bruxaria, styles that have only recently begun to make tentative inroads into the Italian market, albeit often in a diluted, industry-friendly form. 3ron pushes these influences further by blending them with dub, deconstructed club music, noise, and breakbeat, creating something that feels entirely fresh and unprecedented.
“Through funk I realized that creativity matters far more to me than technical perfection. I hate that ‘academic’ approach—the plastic, monotonous productions that may sound polished but ultimately have nothing to say. I needed to break away from those conventional sounds, to make something different, to evolve, to build something that truly represented me.”
“I live in a country where what I do is rarely fully understood and is often misunderstood. I don’t want to compromise just to appeal to a wider audience or make my music more digestible. Using harsh, abrasive sounds that push the limits of audibility is my form of protest, it’s my way of making myself heard.”
Although the foundations of POLUIÇÃO SONORA were laid before 3ron’s Brazilian journey, it was in Brazil that the project truly found its identity. During his stay in São Paulo, he collaborated with a wide range of local artists, DJs and MCs, both emerging names and established figures within the scene, including MC Erikah, MC Dobella, MC Nick, DJ Nino MDK, HIRO$HI, DJ Nathan RV, DJ Sant and TToten.
The project’s title is itself a statement of intent. POLUIÇÃO SONORA literally translates to “Noise Pollution”, a fitting name for the experience awaiting the listeners: sounds and frequencies that deliberately unsettle the ear while never losing their dancefloor impact.
“Even though my sound is very different, Brazil welcomed me with open arms from day one. That helped me secure a lot of gigs and collaborations during my stay, all of which eventually shaped this project. Every track contains sounds, noises and whistles that I recorded around the city with my iPhone. I’ve always had the instinct to capture any ‘strange’ sound I came across and work it into my productions.”
Tracks such as ZUMBIDO DA OAKLEY, FEITIÇO, ELA PISCA and KATUKA, to name just a few, push the contemporary Brazilian funk movement into entirely new territory. The album reveals the genuine cultural foundation from which 3ron draws inspiration, alongside an uncompromising approach to sound design built around deconstructed textures and aggressive sonic experimentation.
The album’s listening party, held in São Paulo, expanded the project’s vision beyond music by pairing it with a carefully crafted visual concept.
“I wanted to build a visual and sonic aesthetic that felt completely coherent inside this downtown São Paulo club. Thick smoke, black-and-white glitched visuals on the LED wall, and relentless strobe lights created an atmosphere of both visual and auditory discomfort. The goal was to create an environment where people would focus on the sensory experience as a whole, living it from every angle rather than simply watching the DJ perform.”
Released independently on May 15, POLUIÇÃO SONORA is now available on all major digital streaming platforms. The album stands as a unique statement within the Italian electronic landscape: sixteen tracks fueled by raw energy and fearless sonic exploration, a journey through underground Brazilian funk that scratches at the ears while leaving listeners craving for more in a kind of beautiful auditory masochism, and one of the most compelling Italian electronic releases of the year.
