Ibiza si prepara a riaccendere i riflettori sull’underground. Il 21 febbraio 2026 si terrà l’opening party che si preannuncia come una dichiarazione di intenti.
Tomodachi ha annunciato la programmazione della stagione e riapre le porte con ospite in consolle Samuel Deep, DJ e produttore olandese noto per il suo ruolo di co-fondatore della label indipendente SlapFunk Records.
Il club ha aperto le sue porte nel 2025, debuttando con un opening in tre parti dal 23 al 26 luglio. Quel primo weekend, con i set di Jeremy Weeks, A.M Project, E.LINA e una collaborazione con The Unknown Ibiza, ha definito fin da subito la traiettoria del progetto. Ora, dopo una breve pausa invernale, l’opening del 21 febbraio segna l’inizio di una nuova fase: la consacrazione di una visione ben precisa.
In un’isola dominata dai superclub e dalle produzioni monumentali, Tomodachi ha scelto la direzione opposta. Capienza limitata, pista raccolta, distanza minima tra artista e pubblico. Non una necessità strutturale, ma una visione culturale precisa. Il progetto porta la firma di Miller, fondatore di Real Gang e figura centrale delle notti dell’ormai chiuso Ibiza Underground. Dopo la chiusura di quel punto di riferimento Tomodachi si è imposto come una nuova casa con un’identità ancora più definita. Qui la dimensione contenuta diventa strumento di intensità. La relazione tra dj e dancefloor si fa diretta, quasi fisica. L’esperienza non è dispersiva, ma concentrata questo è reso possibile anche dalla scelta di adottare una strict no phones policy. In un contesto in cui ogni momento viene immediatamente condiviso online, Tomodachi restituisce centralità al presente. Gli artisti non performano per una camera ma per una stanza viva.
Tomodachi mette il suono al centro della propria ricerca, non come semplice accompagnamento ma come elemento fondante attraverso cui costruire un’esperienza immersiva. Infatti è il primo club ad ospitare un sistema custom-built TYPE. MFR ultra hi-fi firmato TPI Sound, il prototipo del mixer modulare TPI Type 29 è un rotary analogico a 4 canali con EQ a 3 bande, costruito come un’opera di ingegneria elettronica.Le uscite con trasformatore, sia su Master che su Booth XLR,garantiscono l’integrità del segnale ai massimi livelli. Nessun effetto integrato. Nessun artificio. Solo percorso analogico puro, pensato per valorizzare la selezione e la mano del dj.

Ibiza is getting ready to shine the spotlight back on the underground. On February 21st Tomodachi will host its opening party, an event that promises to be nothing short of a statement of intent.
Tomodachi has unveiled its program for the season, reopening with a headline set from Samuel Deep, the Dutch DJ and producer known as co-founder of the independent label SlapFunk Records. The club first opened its doors in 2025, debuting with a three-part launch weekend from July 23rd to 26th. That inaugural chapter, featuring sets from Jeremy Weeks, A.M Project, E.LINA and a collaboration with The Unknown Ibiza, immediately defined the project’s trajectory. Now, after a short winter break, the February 21 opening marks the beginning of a new phase: the full affirmation of a clear and uncompromising vision.
On an island dominated by superclubs and monumental productions, Tomodachi has deliberately chosen the opposite direction. Limited capacity, an intimate dancefloor, and almost no distance between artist and crowd. This is not a structural necessity, but a precise cultural stance. The project bears the signature of Miller, founder of Real Gang and a key figure behind the nights at the now-closed Ibiza Underground. After the closure of that landmark venue, Tomodachi has emerged as a new home with an even more defined identity. Here, small scale becomes a tool for intensity. The relationship between DJ and dancefloor is direct, almost physical. The experience is not dispersed, but concentrated, further reinforced by a strict no-phones policy. In an era where every moment is instantly shared online, Tomodachi restores focus to the present. Artists don’t perform for a camera, they play to a living, breathing room.
At the heart of Tomodachi’s philosophy is sound, not as background accompaniment, but as the core element through which a fully immersive experience is constructed. The venue is the first club to host a custom-built TYPE.MFR ultra hi-fi system by TPI Sound. At its center is the TPI Type 29 prototype modular mixer, is a unique piece of laboratory grade equipement, a four-channel analog rotary with three-band EQ. Transformer-balanced outputs on both Master and Booth XLR ensure maximum signal integrity. No built-in effects. No gimmicks. Just a pure analog signal path designed to elevate the DJ’s selection and touch above all else.
